Strife Game
In a recent best of MMO gaming survey, gamers have ranked a game called ‘Strife’ as the most popular at the moment, with this PVP battle game attracting a few thousand users.
But this isn’t just one on one battle gaming, players and account holders once logged in must form a team of their own and pit that against others’ team of fighters.
As the controller, a player can upgrade equipment for their team, swap in other units and totally prepare them for battle before they go in.
Some of the roots of this game come from the MyBrute.com style gaming, but there has been more than enough variation to satisfy strategy gamers and MMO fans from all walks of life.
The most impressive component of this free browser based game, is that it doesn’t take massive amounts of time to play and enjoy. Gamers can simply use up 10-15 minutes per day if they want to get a quick blast, and given that it’s PVP action its extremely satisfying.
The Strife has been put together by game desinger Kris Sauquillo, using the artistic ability of Chris Sauquillo. While still in beta and development stages, the graphics are limited, expect crisp leading graphics once the final, official release version of the Strife Game goes public.
As the new elements are added to this game in coming weeks, serious gamers and MMO fans can expect the following addons to the current beta version of Strife:
- Multiple daily Strife Game tournaments.
- Auction Room (both teams/units).
- Additional units, and various additional classes.
- Damage types (normal/concussive/explosive).
- Splash damage.
It’s also expected that big fans of Starcraft will also love this game, the strategy behind it is very similar and hardcore SC fans will be all over this.
